The month-long annual Houston Restaurant Weeks event, which benefits the Houston Food Bank, begins on Aug. 1, 2014 and the website of participating restaurants and their menus is now available to the public.The 2014 edition of the website,http://www.houstonrestaurantweeks.com/, launched on Tuesday. The event ends on Sept. 1.
Houston Restaurant Weeks is administered by volunteers and 100 percent of the donations raised from area restaurants go directly to the Food Bank. For a period of 32 days, diners will have the opportunity to order from specially priced multi-course prix-fixe menus. Participating restaurants will make donations to the Houston Food Bank based upon HRW sales.
