FBI, Police Digging At Camden Home As Part Of Investigation

Posted: Updated:
CAMDEN, N.J. -

There was a lot of action Tuesday at a home in Camden, where firefighters, police and the FBI were all taking part in an investigation.

What's going on behind the Erie Street home? Investigators are tight-lipped.

The 300 block of Erie was blocked off just after sunrise as digging equipment was ushered in around the property.

A law enforcement source told Fox 29, they were looking for human remains connected to a decade old homicide investigation.

Neighbors were concerned about the incident as well as whatever they may have found.

The crews cleaned up and left by mid afternoon.

The woman who lives in the row home on the property declined to comment but did say she was not allowed inside the residence while the crews worked.
