Only survivor of Spring home shooting is out of the hospital

HOUSTON -

The only survivor of Spring home shooting that left six other members of her family dead is out of the hospital.

In Wednesday's horrific massacre, 15 year old Cassidy Stay is the only one who was able to make it out alive from her uncle's shooting rampage.

Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital reported Cassidy Stay was discharged today. She's said to be "in good condition." And is "expected to make a full recovery."

Ronald Lee Haskell is accused of killing Stay's parents, and her four siblings.

Cassidy was shot, but played dead then called 911. Because of that call, police say she saved her grandparent's life, where Haskell was heading when police caught him.

Police say Haskell was searching for his ex-wife, Katie Stay's sister, when he came to the Stays' home in Spring on Wednesday.

But for Cassidy Stay, through all of this tragedy, she has been labeled as a hero.
