JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Johns Creek residents are dealing with a major resident water main break, this morning.

The 36-inch water main broke at the intersection of New Cove Road and Jones Bridge Road near the "Herrington Cove" neighborhood.

Fulton County Water Works has responded to the situation. According to them, the water main is a "utility main," which is typically used for public works and fire hydrants. He doubts this break will affect nearby homes.

According to crews on the scene, water is moving pretty swiftly down the road. However traffic has not been affected, at this time.
