Does your dog have model looks and skills?

When it comes to the catwalk, a cockapoo named Maury Ballstein is king. Maury Ballstein is truly a baller when it comes to dog modeling. Like any doting dad, Brian Segall can't help but gush about the success of Maury's modeling career. Maury is currently tied in a neck and neck horse race for a social media contest to represent a well-known carpet company called Dash and Albert.

Diane Katz (yes, Katz, we don't make up the news here at Fox 5) is a well-known doggie casting director. She books sexy, brooding pups like Lucifer for photo shoots. But, it takes more than a magnanimous mug. She says training extremely important.

My own Mabel Rose has a face for the movies. I just need her to work on chiseling her abs a little.

NYPD probing raising of white flags at Brooklyn Bridge

    Wednesday, July 23 2014 1:55 PM EDT2014-07-23 17:55:02 GMT
The NYPD is investigating a major security breach at the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most highly secured landmarks in New York City. Two white flags — international symbols of surrender — fluttered from poles on the stone supports that hold cables above the bridge connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. The flags had a faint appearance of the stars and stripes. The American flags that are normally up at the bridge appeared to have been removed.

NBA's Felton pleads guilty in gun case

    Wednesday, July 23 2014 12:15 PM EDT2014-07-23 16:15:05 GMT
Former NY Knicks point guard Raymond Felton pleaded guilty Wednesday in a Manhattan gun case, taking a plea deal that involved admitting a felony but spares him jail. Last winter, after Felton's law student wife filed for divorce, her attorney brought a loaded semi-automatic handgun to a police precinct and said it was Felton's and she wanted it out of the house, authorities said.  Felton's attorney said he never threatened anyone with the gun.
