His screen name is "Seventy_Seven" and says he did not want to be identified. He claims he lives in the northern part of the United States – not anywhere near the Air Force Base in Tampa.
In an email to FOX 13, NOAA's David Miller said there was a mix-up with UPS, and the box the man received contained the wings to the drone, as well as a remote controller.
"It seems UPS delivered one of the eight boxes to the wrong address, a box containing only the wings and a control device. We are in touch with the person that received the package and are working with UPS to get components to its destination," Miller said.
Miller said the PUMA is a flying camera used for aerial observation. It's said to be worth about $350,000.?
