16-year-old fatally shot in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (AP) - Police are seeking the gunman who shot a teenager to death in Brooklyn.

The shooting was reported at 12:44 p.m. Saturday on East 53rd Street in the Flatbush neighborhood.

Officers found the 16-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

The teen was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His name was withheld pending notification of his family.

There have been no arrests.
