Hawks fall to Pacers 101-85 in game two

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Pacers got the better of the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night in game two of the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Pacers defeated the Hawks 101-85 and have now tied the series at one win apiece.

The Pacers won on a strong performance out of their star forward Paul George. George led the team in both scoring and rebounds and ended the night with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Both teams were playing very closely until the Pacers outscored the Hawks 31-13 in the third quarter.

Jeff Teague had his scoring numbers cut in half after scoring a career playoff high 28 points in game one. Teague scored 14 points but made only one basket in the second half. Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 19 points.

The series will turn to Atlanta next as the Hawks will host game three on Thursday in Phillips Arena. Game four will be in Atlanta on Saturday then return to Indianapolis on Monday for game five.
