The mother of a 14 year old girl who was kidnapped from her home on Monday have been reunited in South Texas.
Jennifer Black, left Magnolia on Thursday for the Texas border town of Magnolia when they got word that Elizabeth had been found safe.
Black told FOX 26 the first thing she was going to do when she saw her daughter was "hug her and not let her go. She is not going to leave my arms at all. The doors are going to be locked and she is going to stay inside."
The 14 year old was found in a home in Harligen where 51 year old Randy Johnson used to live.
Johnson isn't a stranger to the girl or the Rex family. He at one time lived in the Rex home in Magnolia but was asked to leave after Elizabeth's parents say he developed an inappropriate relationship with the girl.
Johnson remains in custody in Harlingen and is charged with sexual assault of a child and kidnapping.
The teen went missing on Monday. Her parents say she told them she was going to get the mail and never returned.
The parents tell FOX 26 since their daughter disappeared they have learned that Johnson had almost an obsession with their daughter.
According to Randy Rex, the girl's father, Johnson used to supply cell phones to other children in the trailer park, to pass on to the teen , so they could stay in touch.
Elizabeth's mother, says her daughter suffers from several mental health issues and has the mind of a 5 or 6 year old.
She says Johnson has been a long criminal history. "I think he needs to stay behind bars and never see an ounce of daylight again" said Black. " His criminal record is already way too long and after this he needs to just stay there and realize that you just can't take people's kids."
