The Houston Texans will begin the 2014 preseason on the road against the Arizona Cardinals in addition to facing the defending AFC Champion Broncos in Denver.
The Texans will host the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons at Reliant Stadium.
The NFL will release the exact dates and times for the games at a later date.
The game against the Cardinals, to be scheduled between Aug. 7 and 10, will mark the preseason and overall debut of head coach Bill O'Brien for the Texans, which also began the preseason against the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona in 2010.
The Falcons and Texans will meet for the first time in the preseason sometime between Aug. 14 and 18. The teams have only faced one another three times during the regular season.
The Texans and Broncos last faced one another in the preseason in 2008. The Broncos have beaten the Texans in four of the five previous preseason matchups. The Texans-Broncos game will take place between Aug. 21 and 24.
Against the 49ers, the Texans won both preseason games in 2011 and 2012. That game will take place on Aug. 28.
