THE MAN HARRIS COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY MISLEAD THE VOTERS IS FIGHTING BACK...
DAVE WILSON, WHO WAS ELECTED LAST YEAR AS A TRUSTEE TO THE HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD, WENT BEFORE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TODAY.
HE CLAIMS HE'S BEING TARGETED BY THE HARRIS COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE IN A LAWSUIT THAT ALLEGES WILSON DIDN'T ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE DISTRICT WHERE HE WON HIS SEAT.
Wilson says, "the Harris County Attorney on at least two occasions hired private investigators at the taxpayers expense to follow and video record me."
We also spoke with Robert Soared from the Harris County Attorney's office about Wilson's allegations. He says, "when the facts are heard in July it will come out to show that he does not live or reside or did not live at the residence at the time he filed his candidacy."
THE RESIDENCY CASE WILL GO TO TRIAL IN JULY.
IN THE MEANTIME, SOME HAVE ALSO CLAIMED WILSON MISLEAD AFRICAN AMERICAN VOTERS IN HIS DISTRICT WITH LITERATURE DISPLAYING ONLY BLACKS AND NO PHOTOS OF HIMSELF.
