It appears that AT&T Uverse suffered a massive nationwide outage on Monday. Reports of the outage first started surfacing on social media sites like twitter when customers posted their frustrations.
The outage was first detected around 10:20 a.m. to roughly 10.7 million subscribers according to the web site DownDectector.com. The website tracks online service providers.
As of 12:46 p.m. none of AT&T Twitter accounts had acknowledge the outages. Despite being tagged in thousands of messages by their customers notifying them of the problem.
AT&T spokesperson did get in touch with FOX 26 News and released this statement at 1:58 p.m.
Earlier today, a power-related issue caused a loss of some TV channels for U-verse customers. Technicians worked to quickly resolve the issue and about 95 percent of impacted channels are restored, with remaining channels coming back up. We apologize for this inconvenience.
