Security guard shot in head at Houston game room

Houston police are asking for the publics help in identifying five people wanted for questioning in connection to a shooting at a Houston game room on Thursday.

A security guard was shot in the head during a robbery in the 10-thousand block of Bissonnet, at the Lucky Star Game Room, in Southwest Houston around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The victim has been identified as 53 year old Ruben Portillo. He is listed in critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital.

The five people wanted for questioning were captured on surveillance video in the game room at the time of the shooting and fled afterwards.

According to the surveillance video the five suspects entered the game room and started playing electronic slot machines.  

Without warning, one of the males attacked the security guard.  As the two struggled, a second man that entered with the group joined in the attack.  During the struggle Portillo was shot.
