One woman is in custody after she fired nearly a half dozen gunshots outside a Houston TV station on Thursday morning. Police have identified the suspect as 44 year old Michelle Monique Burks.
The incident started just before 9 a.m. in Southwest Houston at KTRK, the ABC affiliate, located at Bissonnet and Buffalo Speedway.
One of the bullets hit a corner office window of the TV station. There was one person inside that office but they were not injured.
Several other cars in the parking lot had bullet holes in their windows.
HPD Sergeant, Julie Pleasant, told FOX 26 "that investigators are collecting shell casings from the building and parking lot."
Burks has been charged with deadlyconduct, a felony offense.
Charges could, but may not be upgraded as the policeinvestigation continues.
Houston police are also looking to see if there is a connection to another incident that happened here just three weeks ago.
KTRK-TV is owned and operated by Walt Disney World.
