A barista at a Starbucks in Michigan has been told by her employer to remove the heart-shaped tattoo on her hand or resign. Kayla, 27, who only gave her first name, told a media outlet in Michigan that she's had the tattoo for five years and even had it when she was hired. The coffee company says she has 30 days to remove the ink or leave, for good. The tattoo, located above her thumb, is no bigger than a penny.

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A shocking Twitter account called @LI PartyStories has been suspended on the micro-blogging site. High school students from across Nassau and Suffolk were posting pictures of themselves drinking under age and doing inappropriate things. The most unsettling part is that the account had more than 22,000 followers.

The pictures posted on the feed were so crude and inappropriate that Fox 5 had to blur most of them out for a televised report.

The images are leaving parents speechless.

One high school student from Wantagh was captured with her pants down urinating in a sink wearing a happy birthday tiara.

Another photo showed a West Babylon teen naked in a backyard.

Another picture showed a Port Jefferson teen passed out in a stairway.

Chris Dessi, the CEO of Silverback Social, says this generation doesn't think twice about sharing on social media. But these sorts of posts can have dire consequences.

Marge Lee was hit head-on by a drunk driver 23 years ago. Her oldest son died in the crash. Now Lee educates students and about the dangers of alcohol through an awareness troupe called Determined. She says parents need to get involved now.

"I don't want what happened to my family to happen to anyone else I don't want kids to die from alcoholic poisoning," she says. "Let's do the educational part and prevent it."

Social media experts say every parent should go onto their child's Twitter account and see if they're following this type of  stuff. If they are, he suggested unfollowing the account immediately.

Any teen can get onto Twitter and there are few rules on what can or cannot be posted.

Making New York City more energy efficient

More than half the population of New York City rides public transportation to work. No other metropolis in this country even approaches that percentage or the MTA's total number of riders. For that reason, New York likely ranks as the most energy-efficient city in the nation. But what would it take to make the city even more energy-efficient or even self-sufficient?
