A Montgomery County grand jury will make the final decision in a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a Houston firefighter.
Investigators with the Montgomery county sheriffs office say 27 year old Samuel Keen was shot and killed Monday night in Porter.
That's after somehow he went to the wrong house after a night of drinking while celebrating St. Patrick's Day at a bar in the Woodlands.
The firefighter and military vet was shot by his 64 year old neighbor who says Keen was attempting to force his way into her house.
Neighbor Bob East says Keen moved into the area less than a year ago with his wife.
Montgomery county district attorney Brett Ligon says the case appear to be cut and dry but it must go before a grand jury for a final decision.
Keen served as a Houston firefighter for three years.
