Mt.. Zion High School locked down after gun scare

A student has been arrested at a Clayton County school after bringing what school officials describe as a 'replica gun' on to the campus. The incident happened at Mt. Zion High School in Jonesboro. The school was put on lockdown until the weapon was confiscated.

School officials said the gun was not loaded with any ammunition. The student's name has not been released because he is a minor. He has been arrested for bringing the weapon onto a school campus.

School officials said the gun might have been a BB or pellet gun, but they are not sure at this time. FOX 5 will have more information when it becomes available.
