To quote Jennaphr Fredrick, "my winter gut better not be my summer gut."
She plans on kick starting her plan to become healthier during this time of lent.
She says she is "stuck in a pasta, pizza, Doritos trap" that she needs to break out of.
But it actually may not TOTALLY be all of her fault.
It turns out cravings are based on science. In a study published in 2006 in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, researchers reported that the changing seasons can affect our appetites, making us hungrier in the fall and winter.
Along with many others, Jenn tried to do something.
She read that you could burn 476 an hour sledding, so she went sledding with the kids.
Then she also went snowboarding with those darn kids. The problem is also she went eating with the kids.
And drinking with her friends and eating with friends... the list goes on.
The lithe method team says summer bodies are made in the winter and shape magazine says you can have a bikini body all year
A lot of people are using lent to try and cut something out. You have to start somewhere after all.
