Cycle for Survival kids fundraiser for 'rare cancer' research

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Six year old Ethan Sandlofer, his dad Jason and five of Ethan’s friends stopped by Good Day to talk about Ethan’s event happening this Saturday.

Ethan has already raised more than $57,000 toward research on rare forms of cancer. 

He lost his mom to a rare form of cancer, angiosarcoma, when he was just two years old.

The event is run by Cycle for Survival, which has raised $41 million since 2007.

All proceeds are going to the Sloane Kettering Cancer Center for Rare Cancer Research.

Cost: whatever you want to donate to fundraising page

Any child age five to 14 and at least 48 inches tall from any school.
