Two weeks before the scheduled beginning of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, fans of the annual event can take part in a Houston-area scavenger hunt, but they will need to follow @RODEOHOUSTON for the clues.
The RodeoHouston Outlaw scavenger hunt begins on Monday and ends on Friday, Feb. 21.
Each day the contest will take place at a new public location with one participant eligible to win prizes such as coolers, merchandise, watches, gift cards, gas cards, free food coupons and RodeoHouston tickets, meet-and-greet passes, season tickets, Rodeo merchandise packs, Half-Price Carnival Packs ($50 value), and daily prize packages that range in value from $1,000 to $1,500.
Participants who follow @RODEOHOUSTON on Twitter will learn clues to the location of the Outlaw. The first person to find the Outlaw and say the code word for the day will be the winner.
Location clues will be announced on Twitter between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. during each day of the contest, which allows scavengers a three-hour period to find the Outlaw.
