An Olympic inspired ride of a lifetime.
People in Minnesota are getting in on the Olympics by hosting their very own winter games equipped with a snow luge.
Residents in Crystal say the luge took about two months to build and it was a group effort.
They compiled snow from a number of neighborhood homes.
The celebration started with opening ceremonies earlier this week and has been up and running ever since.
Children have numbered jerseys and each picked a different country to represent.
Organizers say the little racers are judged for time, distance, and style.
Very gusty winds and heavy rain expected through midnight Wednesday morning as a powerful cold front moves in!
After highs Tuesday near 70 degrees, late Tuesday night into Wednesday temps tumble into the 30s and rain changes to wet snow. Little to no accumulation expected.
Freeze warnings posted Tuesday night into Wednesday AM. Protect sensitive plants!
