Snow-covered body found outside LI house

EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say the body of a Long Island woman was found covered by snow outside her home.

The victim was discovered around 11 a.m. Thursday outside the garage of the East Hampton house.

Police say Catherine Dransfield lived in the house with her mother.

According to Newsday  the 67-year-old victim was discovered by a home health aide.

Police say the death does not appear suspicious but the investigation is continuing.
