2 female employees tied up in jewelry store robbery

Posted: Updated:

A lieutenant with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office says a group of three young men tied up two female jewelry store employees before stealing merchandise from the business.

Deputy constables arrived to the Houston Premium Outlets center on Hempstead Road in Cypress at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in response to the reported robbery at the Zales outlet store.

Harris County Pct. 4 Lt. Wayne Schultz told FOX 26 News that the three men forced the female employees into the back of the store and used zip-ties to hold the women. He also says the robbers wore bandannas over their faces during the incident and had not carried any weapons.

Investigators say the van that the men rode in was found less than a mile away from the shopping center. No one has been arrested in this case.
