Fairfax County Police say officers removed more than 1,200 laptop computers from the home of a public schools employee who has been charged with embezzlement.

Police say 60-year-old Craig Soderberg of Alexandria was arrested Monday. Officers say he is coordinator of warehouse operations for Fairfax County Public Schools.

Authorities say an investigation was begun in October. On Jan. 9, police say they removed 1,200 computers from Soderberg's home.

Officers say Soderberg took used laptops, refurbished them and sold them online.
