The number of allergies is skyrocketing. Some reports show as many as one-in-five Americans is allergic to something, including different types of food. The important question is: Is there anyway to reduce this obnoxious and potentially life-changing problem?

It's that time of year when many people start thinking about their New Year's resolutions.  How often do you see gyms completely filled to the brim, come the new year?   We spoke to experts at Renew Body Contouring to see how they help their clients lose weight, then keep it off year around.

The Clinical Director of Renew, Donna Pontello, says B12 injections with lypotrophic and hCG are popular these days.  "It helps burn fat, the stubborn fat.  hCG is a pregnancy hormone.  When combined with a low-calorie diet, patients are burning stubborn fat and not muscle, also teaching them how to eat.  Men and women both do very well," explains Pontenello.

She also says her clients report seeing an increase in their energy levels from B12.  "Recently, we added more B complex to it (our formula), Vitamin C, and also lipotropics, which helps with the weight loss, enhances whatever you're doing for weight loss," she explains.

She encourages one injection each week.  She says she has seen it help patients with rheumatoid arthritis and IBS. It's important to always talk to your doctor before starting any new vitamin therapy, including any type of injection.

Pontenello says all of these injections are closely monitored under the care of a medical doctor.  "They get lab work done, blood work, see the doctor, and then we get started", she states.

She also suggests something called Cool Sculpting, which freezes fat as well as Fractora. "It's radio-frequency that helps tighten the skin.  It has several applications to tighten the skin, burn fat cells, shrink fat cells, and tighten the skin," says Pontenello.
