Suspect sought in death of man at Fulton County gas station

Posted: Updated:
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -

Authorities are searching for a man who could be connected to murder in south Fulton County.

Police have released a photo of a truck driver and a truck captured by surveillance cameras at a Shell station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. They believe the man was operating a truck on the same night that37-year-old Jarvis Hester was shot and run over at the gas station.

Detective Melissa Parker said an autopsy revealed that Hester was shot at least one time and then fell to the ground before the 18-wheeler rolled over his body at around 1 a.m. on Monday.

The man in the photo is a suspect in the murder, Parker said.

Detectives said what led up to the deadly encounter remains under investigation.

Investigators hope someone will identify the red logo on a white trailer so they can narrow in on the driver.
