Bartow fire officials respond to industrial blaze

Posted: Updated:

WHITE, Ga. (AP) - Bartow County fire officials are responding to a blaze at an industrial building about 10 miles northeast of Cartersville.

County EMA spokeswoman Chris Moseley says crews were sent to douse a fire that engulfed the outbuilding of a nearby metal fabrication and machinery maintenance business Tuesday afternoon.

Footage from local television stations showed clouds of black smoke billowing from the building.

Moseley says it's unclear whether any injuries were reported and authorities are unsure of what types of materials are being stored in the building.
