Texans TE Daniels out with fractured fibula

Posted: Updated:
HOUSTON (FOX 26) -

Tight end Owen Daniels suffered a fractured fibula in the Texans loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday and is expected to miss from four to eight weeks.

The fact that Daniels suffered a fractured fibula was initially reported by ESPN's Tania Ganguli.

Daniels, who the Texans could place on injured reserve with the designation to return, will be replaced in the starting lineup by Garrett Graham.

This season Graham has 15 receptions for 141 yards and is tied with Daniels with a team-best three touchdown catches.

Daniels has made the Pro Bowl twice, in 2008 and 2012.
