Reward increased in search for Snellville shooting suspect

Posted: Updated:
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

Gwinnett County authorities have increased the reward for information leading them to a fugitive murder suspect to $5,000.

Investigators say 33-year-old Robert E. Bell shot four people on Sept. 15 at a home on Anderson-Livsey Lane in Snellville.

Three of the victims did not survive, including 34-year-old Angelina Benton, her 12-year-old son Joseph and her 19-year-old godson Raynord Daniel. Benton's boyfriend, Justin Cato, is recovering.

Detectives believe Bell may be traveling to Chicago; Albany, Ga.; or Crossville, Tenn.

Police say they are unclear on the motive. Benton had offered Bell and his wife a place to stay when they fell on hard times.

Anyone who sees Bell is asked to call 911.
