LA PLATA, Md. -

Families are mourning two fathers who were killed at the Washington Navy Yard.

A funeral was planned Wednesday for Kenneth "Bernard" Proctor. He was a 23-year federal employee working as a utilities foreman at the Navy Yard during a shooting rampage last week. Proctor will be buried near his home in Maryland.

Family and friends will gather at a church in La Plata to remember the 46-year-old father of two sons who loved fishing, working on cars and cheering for the Washington Redskins.

Another funeral is planned Wednesday for Arthur Daniels of Washington. He was a handyman and father of five who was working for a furniture contractor when he was shot at the Navy Yard.

They were among 12 people killed by a gunman in the shooting massacre.
