Lindsay Lohan's mom arrested on DWI charge

Posted: Updated:

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan's mother is in trouble with the law.

Dina Lohan was reportedly arrested on Thursday night on the Nothern State Parkway on Long Island.

Lohan, 50, was driving around 77 mph in a 55 zone, according to TMZ.com.

During the police stop, officers say she appeared intoxicated and tested her blood alcohol level, reported the celebrity gossip website.

Lohan reportedly failed the test with her blood alcohol level at .20 percent, twice the legal limit in New York.

Lohan was booked, issued tickets and then released. She's due in court Sept. 24.

Police say they called an ambulance and had medics examine Lohan. She complained she'd been hurt during the arrest. But they say no injuries were found.

Phone calls and emails to a lawyer and publicist who have represented Lohan in the past weren't immediately returned.
