NYPD seeking suspects in robbery at Central Park

Posted: Updated:

The NYPD is looking for two suspects who robbed a Central Park boat rental stand at knifepoint.

Police say the thieves stole a tip jar and a cell phone from the rental stand, located next to the Boathouse. It happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Employees at the Boathouse reportedly chased the suspects on foot but lost them at Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street.

No one was injured.

The booth rents row boats for use on Central Park's lake.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Twin brothers Tyler and Tristin recently had a FUZIPOP party in Manhattan to celebrate their 10th birthday. Never heard of a FUZIPOP party?
