Missing Cypress Teens Considered “Endangered Runaways”

Posted: Updated:

Are they runaways? Or victims of something more sinister? Two teenage girls from Cypress have been missing since Saturday.

Sixteen year old Liana Andrews apparently left town in her mother's car – without permission. Along for the ride was fourteen year old Kacie Watson.

The girls – who are best friends – may have been meeting up with a man they found on Facebook.

The car was later discovered in San Antonio, with no sign of the teenagers.

"They have recovered the car with Liana and Kacie's things in the car," said Liana's mother, Lana Jackson Turner. "No teenage girl would run away without their clothes and their makeup. I think it is obvious that this is not a runaway case."

The girls' families are convinced their lives are now in jeopardy. They tell FOX 26 News the FBI has begun looking into the case.
