NBA sources confirm the Houston Rockets reached a contract agreement with free-agent guard Ronnie Brewer.
League sources told FOX 26 Sports the deal, which was first reported by ESPN.com, is for two years and is partially guaranteed.
Brewer, taken in the first round by Utah in 2006, played for the Jazz until midway through the 2010 season when he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
He played for the Chicago Bulls for two years and split time with the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder last season.
During his career Brewer is averaging 8.2 points, 3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
