From breakfast to bedtime what kids eat to fuel their bodies is important. Chef Gwen Marzano from Garden of Life shows Fox 26 viewers breakfast options before the start of a new school year.
Banana Breakfast Pudding
2 cups sliced bananas (1 banana yields 1 cup)
1 scoop Garden of Life Vanilla or Chocolate Protein Powder
¼ cup Coconut Milk
2 tsp honey (optional)
1 tbsp. Garden of Life Chia seeds
2 tbsp. of your favorite berry (such as blueberries or raspberries)
2 tbsp. of walnuts, almonds or pecans
2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp. of dried fruit such as raisins of cranberries
Place the first five ingredients into a food processor using the “s” blade or mash together in a bowl with a fork. Top with your favorite fruits, nuts, and/or seeds.
