Posted: Updated: July 31, 2013 11:51 PM
ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. -

UPDATE: Jennifer Richardson has been found. Her ex-husband tells FOX 5 that she was located at Atlanta Medical Center. He said that she was found days ago dazed and confused and taken to the hospital for treatment. She was recognized minutes after our story aired on Wednesday night. Thank you for helping get the word out about her.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Richardson had last seen on July 23 in the Conyers area. She was in the process of moving from an apartment in Loganville to a home she shares with a boyfriend in Conyers. She was last when she left to visit a friend.

Richardson's ex-husband, John Burdette, said that she was in good spirits when she disappeared.

"She was happy, everything was going fine," said Burdette.

Richardson and Burdette have two adult sons.

Richardson's best friend Kathryn Dyer said that she's concerned that Jennifer, who is bipolar, has gone off medications.

"Either she doesn't want to be found right now because of a mental state or that a possible maybe carjacking," Dyer said.

Dyer said she's called and texted Richardson, but had no response.

The investigator working the case with the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office said there is nothing to suggest that foul play is involved, but he does say he is concerned about her safety.

Richardson's loved ones say she is on disability and wouldn't have much money. They also say most of her belongings are still at her Loganville apartment because she hadn't finished moving to her new home.
