The number of allergies is skyrocketing. Some reports show as many as one-in-five Americans is allergic to something, including different types of food. The important question is: Is there anyway to reduce this obnoxious and potentially life-changing problem?

ATLANTA -

Addison Compton is feeling much better, according to the latest post on her Facebook page.  According to the Prayers for Addison page, the toddler is awake, has stopped vomiting and is acting much more like herself. The doctor noted Addison had been extremely dehydrated earlier.

Just before 10 a.m., a post was added to her Prayers for Addison page that said she's very sick and is back in the hospital.

FOX Medical Team reporter Beth Galvin first introduced you to the Compton family earlier this month.  Addison, who is 2, is fighting for her life in a battle against a rare form of brain cancer that is normally only found in adults.  Her mom started the Facebook page as a way to ask for prayers, and it's taken off.  In fact, Addison now has an army of "prayer warriors" who pray for she and her family whenever they need it.

Here's the latest post that was shared on the Prayers for Addison page this morning:

"We have good news...Addisons blood work is going back to normal. She is no longer vomiting. She is awake and being herself. The doctor said she was extremely dehydrated..they are letting us go home. Thank you God. She was sooo sick and with in minutes everything started turning around. Thank you all for all the prayers. She still doesn't look to good or feel good. But she's is way better from 15 mins ago. Thank you all for all the prayers, love, and support."

Stay with FOX 5 Atlanta and myfoxatlanta.com for any updates on Baby Addison's condition.
