A popular teacher from Merrick, Long Island says he was forced out of his job because he appeared bare-chested in the reality TV show, Princesses: Long Island.
Stefan Serie, 30, a health teacher at Merrick Avenue Middle School, says he wants his job back because he did nothing illegal and was on-screen for only a few seconds.

A week after the episode aired, Serie was told his tenure would be rescinded and pressed him to resign, according to the NY Daily News.
The Merrick school district confirmed to the Daily News that Serie quit his job.
Serie and supporters are holding a rally Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Brookside School in North Merrick in an attempt to have him reinstated.
