The Houston Rockets reached a verbal agreement with guard Isaiah Canaan according to his agent Reggie Brown.
Brown told FOX 26 Sports Canaan agreed to a three-year deal with the Rockets, with the third year being a team option.
The Rockets selected Canaan in the second round, with the 34th-overall pick from Murray State.
Brown said Canaan, who has been dealing with an ankle sprain, could play on Friday when the Rockets play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Orlando Summer League championship game.
"We are extremely grateful for the deal we agreed on," Brown said.
Brown works with Mark Bartelstein at Priority Sports.
