Several law enforcement agencies, including three county sheriff's offices, and Texas EquuSearch are conducting a search for a 30-year-old man who was last seen on June 9 in the Ace and Rye areas.
The Liberty County Sheriff Office Mounted Posse is leading the search effort taking place in the Big Thicket Retreat subdivision in the Livingston area from where Westley Allen Moore's family reported him missing since June 9.
The search is taking place along a pipeline where the boundaries of Polk, Hardin and Liberty counties merge. It began at around 10:45 a.m. Friday in Hardin County where Moore was last seen.
Moore is described as a white man who stands at a height of 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He has blue eyes, red hair and identifiable marks on his body include a tattoo of a bulldog on his stomach, a tattoo of the phrase "Momma tried" on his inside right leg and a tattoo of the name "Jessiea" on his left arm.
Anyone with any information about Moore is encouraged to contact Sgt. Investigator Kenny Dagle at the Liberty County Sheriff's Office by phone at 936-336-4500 or the Hardin County Sheriff's Office at 409-246-3441 or the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 936-327-6810.
