Woman stabbed multiple times on Queens street

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The NYPD is looking for a suspect in a brutal early morning stabbing in Queens.

A 36-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times in the neck and torso in front of 104-10 22st St. It happened around 5 a.m. on Tuesday.

The victim was rushed to North Shore Manhasset. She was believed to be in critical condition.

Initial reports from the scene indicated that the woman was stabbed up to 10 times in the attack.

Police only had a vague description of a suspect. He was described as a black man wearing a black hoodie.

No other details were immediately available.
