DETROIT (WJBK) -

Lights, camera, action -- those three words set the scene Friday at Comerica Park as Hollywood made a stop in Detroit to film a commercial for the soon to debut Fox Sports 1 network. The star of the show was Miguel Cabrera.

"They talked to me about the commercial two weeks ago. I said, 'Yes, come on, let's do it, let's do something different,'" Cabrera told us.

"It's a big deal to kind of put something like this together. Ballpark was great. The Tigers were great. I don't think they were quite ready for how many people would be down here, but they really did a great job letting us get this done, and hopefully we left the ballpark in one piece," said Fox Sports Senior Vice President Robert Gottlieb.

The 90 second spot, which features the biggest name in every sport from auto racing to the NFL, will air during the 84th All Star Game on July 16, and it is sure to turn a few heads as it trumpets the new network's arrival.

"For us, that's a really big audience. It's really an important place for us to make a statement and announce that America's new sports network is coming, and these are the guys that we want to represent us," said Fox Sports Senior Vice President Bill Battin.

Being a kid at heart, Cabrera had a smile on his face throughout the whole process.

"Really nice guy, great smile, lights up and seemed to have a really good time," Gottlieb said.
