Skateboarder dies after hitting NYC bus

NEW YORK (AP) - A skateboarder has died after riding into the back of a bus at a Brooklyn intersection.

Police say it happened around 1 a.m. Thursday.

The 25-year-old skateboarder died at Kings County Hospital.

Police say he was going south on Rockaway Parkway. He hit the rear of the bus, which was eastbound on East New York Avenue.

His name was not immediately released.

    Two thugs were caught on security camera footage beating a teenager and stealing from her inside an apartment building in the Midwood section of Brooklyn.  The NYPD says the attackers are seen dragging the 18-year-old out of an elevator into the hallway and punching and kicking her.
