Crime Stoppers of Houston and robbery investigators with the Houston Police Department are seeking help from the public to find two young men who took part in an aggravated robbery in January 2013.
A business owner was opening his gaming room after 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 21 when investigators say two men pushed him into the building, closed the door and began to attack him. One of the men pointed a handgun toward the owner's head as the two men robbed the business, located on Homestead Road near Laura Koppe Road in northeast Houston.
The two men fled from the parking lot of the business in a blue four-door vehicle. They had tried to enter another gaming room on the same block moments before the robbery was reported, according to the statement released by Crime Stoppers. They are described as black men between the ages of 18 and 25 years old who each stand at a height of between 5-feet 9-inches and 5-feet 11-inches tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds.
Surveillance video cameras captured images of the men in a nearby parking lot.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 713-222-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspects in this case.
