Storms rolled through Southeast Texas in the Friday early morning hours. The storms brought heavy rain and strong winds.
Damage reports varied greatly by location. Inside the loop there was some minor street flooding as the rain came down quickly and had no where to go.
But North of Houston the strong winds snapped tree limbs and power lines like twigs.
First person accounts on social media were asking if a possible tornado was responsible for the damage.
As of 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Entergy reported that 2,500 people were without power.
