Deputies are investigating a shooting and robbery that left two men injured at a north Harris County automotive center.

The shooting was reported around 2:15 p.m. Friday at Big Boys Rides on Connor Street near Orange Grove Drive. Someone who contacted 911 told dispatchers that two men were shot at the repair facility.

Four males arrived in a vehicle to the building and two of them entered the repair facility and robbed the employees and customers. An employee and a customer were shot during confrontation.

A witness told deputies that the suspects fled from the repair center in a white Pontiac Bonneville or Grand Prix, attracted the attention of a wrecker driver and then robbed him.

The wounded employee and customer were taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital and Ben Taub General Hospital. One of them was in critical condition while the other was in stable condition.
