Weekend subway service changes

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Riders should be aware of service changes to numerous subway lines from Friday, April 26, to early Monday, April 29, 2013, the MTA announced.

The service changes affect the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, A, C, D, F, G, J, M, N, and R lines. The changes are needed because of capital construction work on the subway system, the MTA said.

If you rely on any of these lines you should allow for additional travel time.
