ATLANTA -

It was a restless evening on Sunday night for the parents of 2-year-old Tripp Halstead.  In a post on Facebook on this morning, Stacy Halstead said the toddler's heart rate was up most of the night, and he's headed back to doctor later today.

Stacy wrote that Tripp was "breathing funky even with the oxygen on."  Over the weekend, she posted that he had been breathing without oxygen, and hadn't needed any pain medicine.

Tripp's mom said he is scheduled for physical therapy on today. They're hoping he doesn't have to go back to the hospital.

"I just hate he has bad nights, and I get all in a tizzy and then he has really good days," wrote Tripp's mother.

Tripp suffered a traumatic brain injury in October when he was hit on the head by a falling tree limb.  He had been hospitalized until earlier this month, when doctors allowed his parents to take him home.
