Charlotte Jackson can't stop obsessing about news from the Korean Peninsula. Her daughter Laura is in the army and just deployed there.
"Most of the time I'm okay with it and then somebody will drop in and day 'I'm praying for you and I'm like, okay," she says with tears welling up in her eyes.
Laura joined the army right after high school graduation. She decided to enlist for the same reason so many have in the last twelve years. "She was in second grade when 9-11 happened. She said 'I'm going to join the army when I grow up.' I said 'yeah, right.' And she did."
Charlotte has been busy absorbing news from Korea, and asking anyone and everyone she meets in person on social media to pray for peace in Korea, and her daughter's safe return.
