Police hunt laundromat pervert

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The New York City Police Department is trying to bust a sicko who is accused of exposing himself and rubbing women and children in some Brooklyn laundromats.

Several of the victims are teenagers.

There have been four recent incidents.

In the first one, on March 18, happened at 10 p.m. at a Bushwick laundromat.   Police say the man approached a 14-year-old and 16-year-old, exposed himself to the girls and rubbed up against them.

About an hour later, he did the same thing to a 14-year-old girl.

Several days later, the same man is believed to be responsible for two incident in Canarsie.

The first incident on March 30 happened at about 9 a.m.  A 43-year-old woman was the victim in that incident.  About 20-minutes later he also inappropriately touched a 32-year-old woman.

Police released a photo of the suspect that was captured by a security camera.  He is described as Black,5'9"-6'2" and weighs approximately 200 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.  Police say all calls are confidential.

    A special New York Police Department unit that sparked controversy by tracking the daily lives of Muslims in an effort to detect terror threats has been disbanded, police officials said Tuesday.     The NYPD is looking for an arsonist who has targeted three churches in three days. The most recent act of arson happened at St. Mark's Church in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The pastor is happy that they were able to put the fire out and he hopes that their surveillance video leads to an arrest.
